🏡 SHALOM 881 HOUSE RULES Thank you for choosing Shalom 881. These guidelines help us protect the home, preserve its character, respect our neighbors, and provide a comfortable experience for every guest. By confirming a reservation, the booking guest agrees to review and follow these house rules. 1. Occupancy & Registered Guests Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at Shalom 881. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests and may not be exceeded without the host's prior written approval. Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted. All visitors require prior host approval. Please ensure your reservation reflects the correct number of guests. 2. No Parties, Events, or Unauthorized Gatherings Parties, events, receptions, large gatherings, and unauthorized activities are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to: * Parties or celebrations * Receptions * Group events * Unauthorized photo or video shoots * Commercial activities * Outside vendors or service providers Outside vendors including DJs, caterers, decorators, photographers, or similar services require **prior written approval from the host**. Violations may result in cancellation or other action consistent with Airbnb policies. Guests may also be responsible for documented damages, excessive cleaning, or other eligible costs resulting from a violation. 3. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–8:00 AM daily. During quiet hours, please keep music, conversations, television, outdoor activity, and other noise at a respectful level. Excessive noise or disruptive activity that disturbs neighbors is not permitted at any time. 4. Children & Safety Shalom 881 is **not childproofed**. Guests traveling with children are responsible for supervising them at all times and ensuring their safety throughout the home and outdoor areas. Please use appropriate caution around furniture, appliances, outdoor areas, and the property's natural surroundings. 5. 🐾 PETS, SERVICE ANIMALS & ASSISTANCE ANIMALS Pet-Friendly Policy Shalom 881 welcomes up to 2 approved dogs, each weighing 25 lbs. or less. Pet Fees 1–3 nights: $150 non-refundable fee for up to 2 approved dogs 4+ nights: $35 per night, per approved dog 2 dogs maximum Dog Requirements Dogs must: * Be at least 1 year old * Be house-trained and well-behaved * Have current routine vaccinations * Be free of fleas and ticks * Receive prior approval Pet Rules * Dogs may not be left unattended inside the home. * No dogs on beds or upholstered furniture. * Guests must promptly pick up and dispose of pet waste. * The fenced yard must be clean and free of pet waste at check-out. * Guests are responsible for pet-related damage, excessive cleaning, or odors. * Pets must not damage landscaping or outdoor furniture. **Cats are not permitted.** Allergy Notice: Shalom 881 is pet-friendly. Guests with pet allergies should consider this when booking, as pets may have previously stayed at the property. We accommodate service and assistance animals in accordance with applicable law and booking-platform requirements. 6. 🚭 NO SMOKING, VAPING OR ILLEGAL DRUG USE Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside the home, including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, hookah, cannabis/marijuana, or similar substances. Smoke at least 25 feet from doors, operable windows, and ventilation openings outdoors. Illegal drugs and illegal drug-related activity are prohibited on the property. Evidence of smoking or vaping inside the home, including odor, ash, residue, burns, or damage, will result in additional cleaning, remediation, or damage charges, as applicable. 7. 🌡️ THERMOSTAT & ENERGY CONSERVATION To protect the HVAC system and conserve energy, please set the thermostat to: Summer: 78°F Winter: 65°F If leaving the property for more than 2 hours: Close all exterior doors and windows. Set the thermostat to the appropriate temperature above. Do not set the A/C excessively low. 8. 🧹 CLEANING & EXTENDED STAYS .Extended Stays & Required Mid-Stay Cleaning For stays longer than 7 nights, professional mid-stay cleaning is required to keep Butler Manor clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Cleaning Schedule 1–7 nights: $200 standard cleaning fee, completed after check-out. 8–21 nights: $160 required mid-stay cleaning fee required. 22+ nights: $160 required cleaning approximately every 14 days. We will schedule cleaning with the guest in advance based on the length of the stay. Mid-Stay Cleaning Includes * General cleaning and resetting of the home * Kitchen and bathrooms * Vacuuming and/or mopping * Common areas * Household trash removal * Linens and towels changed as needed Guest Access Guests must provide reasonable access for scheduled cleaning and may be asked to temporarily leave the home while cleaning is performed. Guests cannot decline, cancel, or indefinitely postpone required cleaning. Additional Cleaning or Damage The cleaning fee covers scheduled cleaning only. Guests may be responsible for documented costs related to excessive cleaning, stains, damage, misuse, unauthorized occupants, or house-rule violations, subject to applicable platform policies and law. Our goal is simple: extended stays should be just as clean, comfortable, and well-maintained as shorter stays. 9. LONG-TERM STAYS — 28+ NIGHTS Long-term stays of **28+ nights are welcome**. A starter supply of basic essentials is provided upon arrival. Guests are responsible for replenishing consumable items throughout their stay, including, but not limited to: * Toiletries * Toilet paper * Paper products * Laundry supplies * Other personal-use consumables The starter supply is provided as a courtesy and is not intended to cover the entire duration of an extended stay. 10. USE OF PROPERTY Shalom 881 is provided for **residential lodging and personal guest use only**. Commercial use requires prior written approval from the host. This includes, but is not limited to: * Commercial filming * Commercial content creation * Business activities * Photo shoots * Production activities * Organized events The property may not be used for illegal activities or purposes that violate applicable law or booking-platform policies. 11. CARE OF THE PROPERTY Guests are expected to treat Shalom 881 and its furnishings with care. * Do not move or rearrange furniture without permission. * Do not remove household items from the property. * Use appliances, electronics, and furnishings appropriately. * Report damage or maintenance concerns promptly. * Guests may be responsible for documented damage, loss, or excessive cleaning beyond normal use. 12. 🗑️ TRASH COLLECTION Please place all household trash in the designated outdoor trash bin. **Wednesday evening:** Roll the trash bin outside the front gate for Thursday collection. **After Thursday pickup:** If your stay continues, please return the bin inside the gate. Please do not leave loose trash or garbage bags outside the bin, as this may attract insects or animals. 13. 🍳 KITCHEN USE Guests are welcome to enjoy the fully equipped kitchen. Please: * Clean dishes after use or place them in the dish drainer. * Wipe countertops and the stovetop after cooking. * Never leave cooking unattended. * Turn off the stove, oven, and small appliances when finished. * Use the range hood or exhaust fan while cooking. * Allow grease to cool before disposing of it in the trash. * Do **not** pour grease, oil, coffee grounds, food scraps, or other solids down the kitchen sink. These precautions help protect the plumbing and septic system. Guests may be responsible for documented damage caused by misuse of kitchen appliances or plumbing. 14. 🔐SECURITY & PRIVACY An exterior Ring doorbell camera monitors the front entrance only. No cameras or monitoring devices are inside the home. Guests have private access to the entire home during their stay, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, private cinema room, laundry area, and outdoor spaces. Guests also have access to the spacious fenced yard and screened front porch. 🔐 Contactless self check-in is provided through a secure keypad, allowing you to arrive conveniently without needing to meet the host in person. 🚗 Free parking is available on the property. For your privacy and security, there are no interior cameras. An exterior Ring doorbell camera monitors the front entrance only. The property is exclusively for registered guests.
